Shayna, Emma and Angela were great hosts and guides, the staff was awesome and the Chef is GREAT! Safe and delicious place for vegans! The game drives were very nice and fun, the girls know their bush! We got to see the big five in only 2 days. The cabin was nice and cozy, even though it gets pretty hot during the day (at night it becomes bearable with the fan on). Good hot shower! The elephants in the pool are breathtaking and the highlight of this amazing place.

Note: The last stretch of road, about 13 kilometers, is unpaved. We traveled it with a low rental car. We had no problems but of course you have to go very slowly. During the journey we saw giraffes, impalas, zebras... Spectacular!!! At the entrance to the reserve they sell wood and ice at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!!!

I took my fiancé (then girlfriend) away for the weekend with the intention of proposing. I got in contact with the reserve and told them about my plans and requested them to assist with the set-up. They took us out on a private game drive whilst the staff was preparing a breakfast spot at the view point. Everyone assisted and overshot expectations. Apart from the lengths they went to to make the moment special, the whole weekend was amazing. The staff is exceptionally friendly and one feels at home. This is the best spot to be if you want to visit the blyde river canyon. Terry and Robina are just the most wonderful host, they made our journey unique and unforgettable. The tent is very comfortable and it is next the to the olifant river, so you just hear nature all around you. Amazing!
