Featuring views of the Swartberg Mountains, each bush tent has its own open-air hot tub. There are coffee/tea facilities, plugs and in/outside lights, electric blankets, and a deck area. Wat ons het meest beviel aan Le Petit Karoo is het gevoel van totale rust en verbondenheid met de natuur. We verbleven hier twee nachten in een luxe tent en dat was werkelijk een bijzondere ervaring. Het uitzicht is adembenemend: vanuit je bed, vanaf het terras én zelfs vanuit het ligbad kijk je uit over het uitgestrekte landschap. De stilte is hier bijna tastbaar. ’s Avonds genoten we van een prachtige zonsondergang, gevolgd door een indrukwekkende sterrenhemel. Door het ontbreken van lichtvervuiling zijn de sterren hier ongelooflijk goed zichtbaar — een magisch moment dat je niet snel vergeet. De tent combineert comfort met natuur op een perfecte manier. Het ligbad met uitzicht is een absolute luxe en maakt het verblijf extra speciaal. Tracey en Karen zijn zeer gastvrij en bieden, indien gewenst, ontbijt en diner aan tegen betaling, wat het verblijf nog zorgelozer maakt. Le Petit Karoo is zo’n plek die je eigenlijk het liefst voor jezelf houdt, maar die je tegelijkertijd van harte gunt aan andere rustzoekers en natuurliefhebbers die op zoek zijn naar iets bijzonders, midden in de natuur.

Het Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is een authentiek en contrastrijk natuurgebied en bevindt zich op een gunstige locatie langs Route 62, op slechts 3,5... We stayed at the Gondwana Family Lodge. The rooms are freshly renovated and really pleasant to live in. The food was tasty and uncomplicated in the best way. The service was more than excellent — warm, attentive, genuinely caring with individual approach to each guest. Special thanks to our ranger, Nicole (Dacota). Her stories about animals and plants made each game drive vivid and memorable. She truly made the experience special.

En suite was great. Great location for visiting Cango Caves. The host was lovely and very welcoming and accommodating

Guests will find a microwave and an electric kettle in the kitchenette. The tent also features a barbecue. We loved the De Nest - Clear Glass Tree Cabin! Situated just outside of Montagu, the location offers easy access to wine-tasting, gin tasting, hiking, and the list goes on. The views were breathtaking, the unit itself was private and cosy. -perfect for that romantic getaway. highly recommend it!
