Great location just north of Aberdeen. Was working within a 30 miles radius and could reach my destinations with ease. The staff are wonderful and very well mannered. The food in the restaurant at night was very good and the breakfast choice amazing. I had to miss a night in the restaurant to check out Balmedie fish and chip shop, highly recommended. The room is spacious and cosy with a good size bathroom, with tea and coffee facilities. Can't fault the place.

We stayed at the hotel and also booked a family function - the staff were extremely helpful and it was even better than anticipated. I have seen negative comments about the hotel desk not being manned at all times but the staff went out of their way to ensure we knew when they were leaving and asking if we needed anything. The area is so peaceful - we loved sitting on the terrace listening to the birdsong.

Set in 44 acres of gardens and woodland, Thainstone House is just 15 minutes from Aberdeen Dyce International Airport. The hotel has a luxury spa and fitness centre, and a free parking.
