Dinner was very nice with good choices as was our breakfast. Staff were friendly,, welcoming & efficient. Golf course en-route to the hotel & walks close by; along the old tow path of the Barnsley canal, we didn’t go too far as unsure where it lead. Friendly welcome from Leigh and a pleasant room with a view of the bridge. We ate in Charlie's Bar where the staff were more than helpful and the food delicious. We held our annual charity golf day on one of the worst rainy days, however the staff at the Golf Club were fantastic and went above and beyond to make sure our day went ahead, followed by a lovely meal for 50 guests.
