Hotel Schachner is located in the town of Maria Taferl, close to the basilica. It offers views of the Alps and the Danube River. Felt like it had everything I could have asked for

The hospitality was the best part of our stay and we could not ask for anything better. The property is kept in the best condition possible, especially the gardens and pool area.

I stayed at this hostel with self check-in, and everything went perfectly. The owner was always reachable by phone in case of any issues. No keys were needed, as everything operated with numeric codes entered on terminals. The place was modern and very clean. There was also the option to keep my motorcycle sheltered in a covered shed. Highly recommended!
