Το Mellow Mountain Hostel βρίσκεται στο Ehrwald του Τιρόλου, σε απόσταση 2,9χλμ. από το τελεφερίκ Tiroler Zugspitzbahn και προσφέρει σάουνα, ατμόλουτρο και χώρο αποθήκευσης εξοπλισμού σκι. It is the excellent place for staying if you intend to have a sport activity like climbing or hiking. The train station as well as the bus stops are nearby, the DE-ticket for trains works there, the bus ticket is included into the price of the hostel. There are metallic lockers with keys in the room to secure your stuff when you go out. There is a washing machine available at the basement. There is also a wonderfully decorated hall with big, panoramic windows, inspiring a peaceful atmosphere. There is also a fingerboard (!) at the entrance, so one can training fingers directly in the hostel :) As well if the weather is not good for open-air rock climbing, then the free entrance to the climbing (klettern) gym nearby (in Ehrwald) is provided.

The Hotel Föhrenhof is situated in a peaceful area on the edge of a forest in Farchant, just 3 km from the Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Lovely staff. We had a warm welcome in the early afternoon with a Schnitzel sandwich. Room was extremely spacious and had a lovely view on the mountains. Beds were comfortable, and everything was very clean. The breakfast was great as well: eggs, yoghurt, quark and many different kinds of bread, fruit, meat and vegetables.

The 4-star superior hotel has been family-run since 1634 and offers an indoor swimming pool, various saunas, steam baths, a children's playground and a cosy lounge. We had a wonderful stay, especially as a family! The hotel offers fantastic options for everyone — the pool, gym, sauna, mini golf, and theater kept us entertained, and the three included meals each day were delicious, with fresh natural juices in the morning being a highlight. The location is also perfect, close to the top attractions in the city, making it easy to explore. Most of all, the incredible staff made our stay feel extra special. We’re already planning our next vacation to return here in the winter — can’t wait! Highly recommend for families looking for a fun and relaxing getaway.

I loved the perfect location with its charming shops, proximity to the town center, ski slopes, and nearby attractions. The host’s exceptional hospitality, including the thoughtful welcome basket and festive gifts during Christmas, made the stay truly memorable. The modern, spacious accommodation with beautiful natural light and cozy amenities like underfloor heating created the ideal atmosphere for a special holiday with my family.

Beautiful hosts, so friendly, so helpful, so lovely. Apartment was just amazing. Bigger than expected, so clean, beautiful furnishings. Location perfect, central to old town and train station. The property was wonderful! The rooms are minimally furnished but tastefully done. The view was spectacular. I loved the shared kitchen and dining room idea. We had take out one evening and shared the space with friends making their own dinner and it was so nice to feel community. If you don’t go shopping, there are plenty of items you can purchase there if you would like to make a meal and special containers in the fridge with the room numbers written so you could have your space. We were right next to the train station but don’t let that deter you! We were never awoken by the train and it was so convenient having it right there. Lovely time on our ski holiday and staff was superb.

Everything was perfect, absolutely loved this place! It was spotless beautifully decorated and surprisingly spacious. But what really made it special was the owner, very kind, welcoming and super attentive to every little detail. You can really tell they care. They truly went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect, offering help and support.Would 100% come back and recommend to everyone!
