Close to lots of beautiful nature which we hiked to ….such a lovely area. The host came by for a chat, so nice to meet her and you can’t get a better host than her. The apartment has everything you need for a nice stay in Bogense. We can’t wait to come back.

We liked everything. The location is perfect, right in the center of Bogense, and there is a designated parking spot. Our room was clean, cozy and comfortable and there was a nice kitchen next door which was great. Freddy, the host, put an American flag in front of the entrance, a nice welcome. He was so kind, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was a typical Danish spread, very nice, and we ate upstairs in a beautiful room filled with sunlight. The very best thing for us at this property was to be able to relax and enjoy the beautiful garden. Pictures below.

When my travel plans got upended and I came in a day late, tired, jet-lagged, and hungry, she met me on the property and prepared a fabulous lunch of coffee, juice, meats, cheeses, fruits, and breads for me (because I had missed breakfast). This thoughtful touch to ensure the comfort of her guest was so sincerely appreciated! The room was cozy and comfortable, with everything I needed during my stay. The breakfasts were delicious and prepared early, so I could eat before flitting off for full days at my conference. And the property is peaceful and simply stunning (including their gorgeous grapevines and koi pond). It is well situated for a short drive through the beautiful countryside to both Kerteminde and Odense. I couldn't have asked for anything more!

Offering a private bathing pier and gourmet restaurant, this elegant boutique hotel overlooks Svendborg Sound. WiFi and parking are free. A bar and sea-view terrace are found on site. The hotel has a beautiful location, we truly enjoyed the fresh air and stunning nature views. The room was cozy and very clean. A big thank you to the hotel staff for the warm welcome! We’ll definitely be coming back.
