The home was totally renovated and our host Fred was wonderful. Fred prepared an evening meal of local ingredients and breakfast included homespun jams and local breads.

Our host messaged us in advance to give us the access instructions. The space was perfect for our stay. It is a studio apartment, comfortable with everything you could need to cook a nice meal, eat, and relax. The bathroom was very clean and modern with very good shower pressure. Our dog enjoyed his stay too, finding comfort on the wooden floor and the quiet surroundings of nature. Although it is very remote, this is what made Studio Belle Perche so great. Before arriving at the accommodation, we made sure to go food shopping to have food to prepare our meals, as the nearest supermarket is just under 15 minutes drive from the property. Once we arrived, nature was on our doorstep. We took some great walks around the surrounding fields and countryside. To note, there are some steep stairs to get into the property. Also, there are some coat hooks at the top of the stairs, but it would be very useful to have some as soon as you get inside at the bottom of the stairs to leave any wet coats there (as we had some rain when we stayed).
