Booked last minute, and was pleasantly surprised at the super-friendly staff. We travel with a large dog, so we don't always expect a friendly welcome, but the staff was more than accomodating and even asked if we needed anything for our dog...!!! Nobody has ever asked if we need anything for our dog! I was more than positively surprised! The rooms and the decor are very cool (the hallways need a bit of a touch up here and there). Very clean, very comfortable beds with a wonderful view. A 10 minute walk outside the old town. Would definitely recommend to others, and definitely stay here again.

Boasting a bar, shared lounge, patio and free WiFi, Hotel Les Pasteliers is situated in Albi, 800 metres from Albi Cathedral and less than 1 km from Toulouse-Lautrec Museum. This hotel is great value, perfectly positioned just on the edge of the old town which means it an easy walk to all the sights of Albi. They serve a fabulous breakfast and the rooms are extremely clean and comfortable. The owner and her husband are lovely people, and both went above and beyond assisting us when our train was cancelled at the last minute. We would definitely stay again.

A really interesting old townhouse that has been brought back to life with care, style and a touch of quirkiness and humour. We were fortunate to be able to stay in a larger room than we had originally booked and it was really wonderful. Large comfortable bed and great pillows (including rectangular ones which we prefer to the large square French ones). Fantastic bathroom with large shower enclosure. All done with beautiful taste - even down to the reproduction light switches but also up to date with USB sockets in the same style. Lots of interesting spaces around the house and garden where you can sit quietly and read a book. Breakfast was fresh and generous and served on beautiful old crockery with proper napkins - nothing was too much trouble. Our hosts were both welcoming and helpful - and we enjoyed their two friendly Dachshunds too. Fantastic location for exploring the Pyrenees within easy reach of the high mountain passes (Tourmalet, Aubisque, Aspin) and also Lourdes or through the Bielsa tunnel to lovely Ainsa in Spain. The icing on the cake for us was the secure parking garage around the corner - which was the perfect town centre solution for our soft top Morgan.

Communication from the owner was great. All entry details were clear. It was very close to the old town which we thoroughly enjoyed.

It was an absolutely stunning spacious apartment..the fixtures and fittings were of the highest standard. Lovely little touches of chocolates, cakes and soft drinks in the fridge. The bed was very comfy and everywhere was spotless. Could not fault it! On street Parking was very easy and free, and it was only a short walk over the bridge to the centre and the Cathedral.
