Ravenstone Manor is een 19e-eeuws herenhuis op een landgoed van 3 hectare op 5 minuten rijden van Bassenthwaite Lake. Absolutely everything, the professionalism of the staff, the amazing scenic view from the room (number 1 and number 3 as we decided to stay an extra night), the amazing bed. They were also very accommodating with our dog, and the dog walk around the hotel is marvellous! The restaurant food was also really great! And so was the breakfast! Thank you

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Leuk hotel, dichtbij het centrum van Windermere. Mooi ingericht, net als de kamers in het hotel. Voldoende ruimte op de kamer en een mooie grote badkamer. Het ontbijt wordt geserveerd aan tafel met voldoende keuze, erg lekker.

Dit prachtige Victoriaanse huis ligt op een rustige locatie tussen Windermere en Bowness, op slechts 1,6 km van het meer Windermere. Heel vriendelijk personeel en ze maakten een heerlijk ontbijt iedere ochtend.

Cumberland House ligt in Cockermouth, op 22 km van Derwentwater en 46 km van Wasdale, in een omgeving waar je kunt fietsen. The property is lovely, but is the host that really made the difference. The host really thought about everything - from the air fryer to laundry, to dishwasher tablets and shower gel and shampoo. They were also accommodating to our late arrival, for which we still really thank them
