It’s a historic pub, but modernized. Our bedroom included a full soaking tub and a beautiful view of the Yorkshire countryside. The food was fantastic. The staff was fantastic. We stayed there on a Thursday night and they were having trivia night. The place was packed with people having a good time. It was decorated for the Christmas holiday holidays. It was warm and joyous and a fabulous part of our journey. It’s a short drive to Chatsworth house and a great place to stay if you decide to do Chatsworth Christmas.

We hadden een heel huis tot onze beschikking met voldoende slaapkamers. Een ruime keuken en een gezellige woonkamer. Ook het plaatsje Matlock is leuk en in de buurt is op loopafstand veel te zien. Tegenover het huis is een gezellig café.

Outstanding the decor the comfort the thought that had gone into the whole place was outstanding . The grandchildren loved the triple bunk beds!!

Lovely Cosy Two Bed Home, Peak District Gateway ligt in Buxton, op 8 minuten lopen van Buxton Opera House en 24 km van Chatsworth House, en biedt accommodatie met voorzieningen zoals gratis WiFi en... We had a fantastic stay. The little house is lovely, with comfortable beds, a great shower, everything was clean and well maintained. The outside area was a suntrap! Only a ten minute stroll to the centre of Buxton. Great communication from the owner, very easy to get entry.

The Bay Tree Bed & Breakfast is gelegen in Alton en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Nice place, thanks to Mrs. Anita and Mr. Mark for their hospitality and excellent service. I liked the attention to the cleanliness of the place and the spaciousness of the rooms.

Pavilion View is gelegen in Buxton, op 25 km van Chatsworth House en 28 km van Capesthorne Hall, in een omgeving waar je kunt wandelen. We came for the Buxton International Festival. The location was perfect. We come to Buxton quite often for walking or the festival centred around the opera house. We hope we can come again and stay at the same place. It was exceptional.
