Set amidst natural landscapes, the resort has 4 dining options on site. Taman Simalem Resort was one of the highlights of our trip to Sumatra! We stayed for just one night in the Waterfall Superior Room, but it left such a lasting impression. Initially, we thought the price was a bit steep, but once we arrived, we completely understood—it’s worth every penny. The resort is massive and immaculately maintained. You truly feel like you’ve stepped into another world. We especially loved how green and natural everything was, with their own coffee and tea plantations. The produce was fantastic—we even brought some English Breakfast tea home, and I can’t recommend it enough! We also LOVED the breakfast! The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The room was spacious, and the bed was incredibly large and cozy. The restaurant in the Waterfall Bungalows area was absolutely charming, and the food was excellent. If you’re looking for a serene escape surrounded by nature, this resort is a must-visit!

Let's say I was thankful the fan worked, so I could sleep at night.
