I managed to tick most of them off which made for a great day exploring the beautiful surrounding nature. The hostel is well equipped, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It was a pleasure staying there and I would 100% return on my next visit! Thank you!

It was a bit of a trek for us to get to the property but the view was worth it. We only stayed for one night and decided to send our bags to our next hotel in Tokyo prior to arriving (would recommend this if you don't have a car). We arrived at Mishima station and caught a highway bus which took another 90 minutes to reach Lake Kawaguchiko. Check in process was easy. The house was great. There were bikes which we used to travel to the nearest combini. Highly recommend hiring e-bikes from the local businesses to explore the area.

The property is non-smoking and is set 5.7 km from Lake Kawaguchi. Host was super helpful and responsive. He went out of his way to accommodate us and we were very grateful.

The owners were very kind and even though they don't speak english we were able to communicate by using their interpreter device. The accommodation was very clean and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. They also gave us info on what to do in the area.

The staff is wonderful - always friendly and welcoming. The room is cosy and nice. Location is excellent. The shabu-shabu dinner that can be ordered for an extra fee was really good, and a great experience.

Hot spring area was clean and organised. Room was clean, big and so pretty. We had most grateful time at HOTEL KEYFOREST HOKUTO during this trip.

Built in 1988, this 2-star guest house is within 8.5 km of Fuji-Q Highland and 29 km of Mount Fuji. The guest house has family rooms. I don't think it's possible to overstate the experience we had staying at Lodge Stack. Our little family of 4 really felt totally at home and comfortable with Papa-san and Mama-san. You're welcomed into their home, where there's an array of "things" - little keepsakes, random decorations, photos, trinkets, and other things you'd expect to see in someone's home. The hosts were ready to attend to every need that we had, and we really enjoyed the time spent in the main dining/sitting area, chatting with other guests just enjoying the atmosphere. I'd really recommend this place to anyone, but we found it extremely family-friendly. There is a 7/11 at the end of the main road as well, so you're not too far from food or snacks. It's also easily in walking distance of a giant playground with a great view of Mt Fuji.
