We appreciated the modern kitchen. There are two grocery stores within walking distance and we were able to walk to nearby hiking trails.

The breakfast was one of the best we had in Norway with very personal service. The table was ready for us with a variety of choices (not a buffet). The atmosphere of the entire property was quiet and relaxing; it felt very homey and welcoming. Finally, the staff was incredible and went out of their way to make sure there were options for my husband with some dietary restrictions. The dinner was excellent and we loved sitting and visiting with people from other parts of the world!

Impeccable cleanliness, excellent menu prepared mostly from ingredients that were picked from the own farm, so it can't be fresher than that. The bed was very comfortable, special nature. Everything we needed was right there. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, cookware, and even spices, which made cooking super convenient. We also loved having access to the gym and patio, and the jacuzzi was a great bonus for relaxing in the evenings. The design and overall vibe of the place were spot on: stylish, cozy, and welcoming. The owners were incredibly kind and chill and even let us charge our car, which we really appreciated. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

An amazing house, lovingly renovated to include modern touches with a traditional feel. Kitchen space was perfect for cooking, garden area was lovely for an afternoon beverage while looking at the mountains. Showers were warm and the river near by was a refreshing dip after a long day hiking. Cannot wait to come back! Thank you very much to Oddleif and Synnøve for sharing your property with us.
