Akaroa Criterion Motel is situated opposite Children’s Bay. It is a 16-minute walk from Mt Vernon Akaroa. Excellent location. Good parking. We were able to walk everywhere.

Panorama Motel is at the quiet end of town, but is still close to activities like the Dolphin Encounter, the golf courses and it’s just a short 5 minute drive from the train station. We had a huge delay and arrived late. Annie at the reception left for us the unit open and prepared, and explained by mail very clearly how to find it, where to park etc. Parking was just in front of the door. The room had big windows with great views of the sea, and there was a sitting area outside, although it was too cold and windy to use it.

Timaru TOP 10 Park is a 6-minute drive from Caroline Bay Park and Aorangi Park. Centennial Park is an 11-minute drive away. Well appointed kitchen, nice size, great porch, very quiet. Location pretty close to town, could walk. Grocery store close by. Most restaurants downtown. Washer and dryer worked well. We used the BBQ 3 nights, great!

The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient and quiet. Highly recommend and would stay again!
