We loved our stay at Ratatnui Lodge - the staff was so accommodating to anything and everything we needed. The rooms were very comfortable; outdoor jacuzzi (needed to be cleaned but still nice) and pool area were a great bonus. Included breakfast was amazing and I had the delicious blueberry pancakes both days. Dinner and Bar/Drinks were also exceptional. Location is great for exploring the north and west side of Abel Tasman. We planned to take a water taxi to the east side but the road was closed to due slips (not a problem we did that on our way out from the east side of the park). Room included basics such as tea and coffee - robes included for relaxing. Truly this was one of our favorite places we stayed. Staff helped us coordinate our activities and when we had to cancel one due to the road being out they made sure we got our refund. Amazing stay!!!

Ideally located for exploring Abel Tasman National Park, Pohara Beach Holiday Park is 10 minutes' drive from Takaka and Golden Bay. It is 30 minutes' drive from Collingwood. Location right on the beach/bay! Staff helped me out of a tough situation. Very grateful for them 💙

Offering a children's playground and free on-site parking, Golden Bay Motel is located in Takaka, just 5 minutes' walk from shops and restaurants. All apartments boast a patio and a fully equipped kitchen. Guests receive free WiFi access. Location - walking distance to shops. We stayed in room 5 - this was so spacious with 2 beds, dining table and full longe. The best part was the large glass sliding doors leading out to a private deck overlooking a lovely garden and play area. Very relaxing spot for to have a drink and read a book. Friendly staff. Washing machine and dryer available for guests. Kitchen facilities to cook if needed.
