Partenope is in the center of Angra, near the botanical garden. The parking space is very close and it's cheap. Taxi od near as the bus stop. Restaurants and cafes are near as well as shops. It's a quiet establishment and honestly I can't in the evening and went around in the morning, My bunk bed was spacious and pleasant. Breakfast is basic; bread, cheese and ham, yogurt, juice, coffee, honey, Nutella, some sweets and fruits as well. Enough to start the day. The kitchen is spacious and has everything for a quick snack. It was pleasant to chat with the owner of the establishment as well. If you're looking for a place to end the day and start fresh, this is the place.

The villa is located in the most incredible of settings. The view from the beautiful pool and hot tub area, includes a view of the mountains, as well as glimpses of Ponta Delgado and the ocean. But the loveliest part of the property, is the orange groves brimming with beautiful flowers, which guests are free to wander and enjoy. The villa itself, offered all the amenities a guest could want, and offered ample space for our family. It was beautifully decorated and well appointed. Our host Anna, was so sweet and helpful. The homemade cakes she periodically left on the dining table, were a welcome surprise at the end of a day of sightseeing. The villa was perfectly located as a base to explore San Miguel and was very close to Ponta Delgada. But once you were back at the villa, it was an oasis of calm and tranquillity. The pool and hot tub were wonderful for relaxing and soaking tired muscles after a day of exploring the island. She was particularly kind to my children who sat on her couch ( they don’t normally get much screen time )for tv occasionally downtime.
