really close to everything such as opposite train station, 12 min walk to car hire, Katoomba main Street literally around the corner, half four walk to Three sisters and Scenic World (or 10 min by bus)! The room is compact but has everything you need. The hotel is beautiful and was quiet for the two nights we stayed. there was a ceiling fan (very effective), Air conditioning and heater so your well covered for all weather. free parking and excellent wifi

The staff was great, engaging and very helpful, the place really well kept keeping in line with the old style of the building, the continental breakfast was very good as did the dinners. Food was great and having it next to the fire on a cold night was the cherry on the top.

Superb location only a few minutes walk from great walking routes into the Blue Mountains, including the Seven Sisters and the Giants Staircase. Spacious and comfortable rooms, if a little dated. Bathrooms were all refurbished and superb. Really good value for money

The hospitality was outstanding! The owners taking the time to talk to you and make sure you were looked after. The room felt more like a bedroom than a hotel room, which was relaxing. Very quiet location, good parking, beautiful house and gardens and the breakfast was exceptional. Also loved Ted!
