There's absolutely nothing not to like about Hidden Gem. It is spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, has comfy beds and even a fridge with a small selection of beverages should you get thirsty at inconvenient hours. Katrien received us personally, greeted us like we were old friends, and was generally very helpful. She gave us tips and directions, even had prepared a little map with the key features of Bruges. She even knew where to find the stop for the Flix Bus! :-D It's a shame we were only staying for one night as the property itself is so beautiful. We'll definitely be coming back for a longer stay. Hidden Gem is located literally opposite the main station in a small side road, but you can't hear a thing - no traffic, no trains, no people. A dream!

Our accommodations were on the third floor, beautifully designed spacious area with private deck. Our hostess communicated quickly and was very accommodating with all our request. We received a lovely bottle of sekt ( much appreciated after a long drive ) and mini frig had both still and bubbly cold water. Located in a quiet residential area, free parking on street near accommodations. Our hostess recommended a lovely burger establishment within walking distance thru a beautiful forested area. Breakfast was amazing; so many options in our picnic basket.

Excellent communication, great location, lovely little place tucked just behind Langstraat. It was the hottest weekend of the year so far, but there are plenty of windows and skylights to open and let air through. The shower was great; the loo is downstairs (as it's a coach house type apartment) but that was fine for us. We didn't use the kitchen but it seemed well ordered and good if you wanted to make your own food, etc. The mezzanine bed was setup on the floor - given the heat we were expecting to do this, so it was great that it was already setup. For a family of two adults and two children under 10, this worked out really well for a weekend. Very much liked the complementary bottles of Zot on arrival! Would recommend!
