The young man running the accommodation was very helpful and shared some local information regarding bikeing in the area. Our room was large with a nice balcony and a relaxing garden area for relazing in. We would stay here again if in the area.

Owner helped us with everything. She arranged us a transfter to her hotel and to our next hotel for a good price. She let us rent a scooter for a day and advised us where to go to get the best views. Even though the hostel is meant for climbers, we had a great time there.

Charming facilities at a beautiful location, nicely renovated and with a view on Moon hill. Extremely friendly and kind personnel, especially Gloria and Rita provided a lot of practical support in organizing local trips and ensuring a wonderful stay. Everything has been perfect! Emily was very kind and helpful and she definitely made our stay and experience in Yangshuo perfect! (She suggested us some spectacular routes that we did with scooter and also delicious restaurants with also vegetarian options and staff talk in english). There are also some lovely cats in the hostel and Emily upgrade our room for free! Try also the homemade toast that she makes, so good. 💜

Friendliest hotel staff I have ever experienced. When there was a problem with the room on the last night, they gave us a free room. Excellent location outside the busy and noisy city of Yangshuo, ideal spot to explore Yulong River and the villages in either direction. You can rent an e-scooter/bike from the property for a very good price.

Awesome location, incredible cosy facilities. Free breakfast each morning was delicious too. Host took me on an impromptu tour to a nearby cave/temple on a rainy day which was very cool. Also helped me arrange transport to and from the hotel.

In the Yulong River Scenic Area district of Yangshuo, close to Lion Mountain, Zen Box House has a garden and a washing machine.
