We enjoyed everything here! You can’t find a better one in Luxor. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. They offered great breakfast. It’s 4 minute walk to public ferry station and easy to get to Valley of kings by taxi.

I have stayed in 8 hotels in Egypt and this is by far the best one. Nice location, just 6 minutes by car from train station or Luxor temple. Great owner, very welcoming and polite. Nice pool. Good price, great value. Big, clean room. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in East Bank who is looking for a nice an affordable place to stay.

Ali and his family are amazing! always very kind and attentive to our needs. It is a small hotel looking to the Valley of Queens in Luxor, away from the noise of the city and the rush of the tourists. The food is prepared from the organic garden they have in the property and the quantity is very generous and a fair price. Ali helped me to find a driver to take us to the main attractions in Luxor and was always flexible with our schedule. For sure the best place to stay in Luxor!

Every thing in order. The room looks exactly like in the photos which is already amazing considering Egypt. Everything was clean including the shared bathroom (Thanks to Dip). Everything looked newish. Great power shower with great hot water. The mattress was very comfortable too. Super quiet area for a great sleep. Could not hear a single car or motorcycle passing by. It's only 7 min of nice walk to the public and/or private ferries that cross to the East Bank. Also Ibrahim greets you upon arrival and gives u great advice. Great value for money overall.

It was our best stay in Egypt and we booked few places in different cities so we have comparison 😊. Mohamed was extremely nice and helpful. He called us even when we drove to Cairo to make sure we are fine. And in the house there was everything we needed. It was very clean also. There is rooftop with nice view for sunset and flying balloons. They helped to organise boat trip on Nile and hot air balloons for very good money. We really enjoyed our stay there and we highly recommend CASA LOKO!!! 🙂

Absolutely charming guesthouse run by Tayeb and his family, who were extremely hospitable and welcoming – they were kind enough to let us check in early after our overnight train from Cairo and to keep one room for a few extra hours on our last day. The breakfast is incredible – we couldn't believe how much food there was, and it just kept coming! The aubergines with tahini were a particular highlight, and we all loved the halawa spread; we also had dinner one night, which was one of our favourite meals of the whole trip. For our second night, Tayeb recommended an amazing local restaurant, which was our other favourite meal! He also arranged a taxi to bring us back. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt totally relaxed and at home. Would recommend without reservation to anyone wanting to experience Egyptian hospitality and to support a local family. Oh, and we loved being able to watch the hot air balloons over the Valley of the Kings in the morning! Great viewpoint from the terrace.
