Arriving in Monte Carlo, if you are alone on June 26, you can't afford to make mistakes (on booking.com the price was good, but who knows... in any case the owner had taken care to give me every indication via WhatsApp) otherwise in tears you run to the station and escape. When after a considerable climb (then I discovered all the elevators and escalators) I opened that French window, I found a mega A/C, a large smart TV on the wall (furious fast wi-fi), a mini fridge with kettle and coffee on top, hairdryer, ironing board with iron (fun optional in a 3 square meter room) bathroom and modern furnishings. My life for that evening was saved (never mind the rather limited hot water... and other trifles). As soon as I went down the stairs, in the square formidable pizza for 10 euros and markets open until late.

Super lovely staff, very much a self-service type of place. Great common room to meet people. Room itself is basic but the AC works well, bathrooms are clean and never had to queue, and the in-house laundry was a great touch. I think the bad reviews are extremely unjust and done by people who had expectations of a hotel as opposed to a friendly guesthouse.

Clean, well equipped apartment with great area to sit in the garden. Florence is amazing host, really helpful. Apartment is close to the train station, from where you can visit other cities of Cote d’Azur. Really close to beach, restaurants, shops, everything available in the walking distance

The place was nestled in nature and still near to all places along the coastline. Laura and Terry were amazing with the breakfast and tips and we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel was a gem in paradise. I would highly recommend the Deluxe room because of the brilliant view. Everyone was very kind and nice, especially Mam who was caring for the breakfast. She made you feel at home and cared for, we had nice chats about this and that. You get to Nice and the surroundings by public transport so you can do pretty much everything you like. Nice restaurants are around too. Best choice!

This place is and absolute miracle. Not only the location and the design of everything on the place but it is really the charm and hospitality of the hosts that are making your stay an unforgettable experience. We do travel a lot, but rarely we come by places like this. It is beautiful, cosy, original and most carefully kept.

A good location for a relaxing stay in Cagnes-sur-Mer, Les Grimaldines - Maison d'Hôtes is a guest house surrounded by views of the mountain.

We had a lovely stay, the apartment is something special! :) the breakfast was very delicious, fresh. The owner was nice, we could also leave our car and bikes there after check out to go to Menton centre by foot. :) There was also a very nice cat around the garden, which is always a big plus for us. :)
