The owners were very helpful and welcoming.The room was fantasticand the location amazing. The main bus route is half a block away. You do not need to use your car at all. Easy to navigate. Every day we got a breakfast bag and a lovely surpriseon EasterSaturday when we returned to our room that night a beautiful boxed Easter Egg. Very thoughtful.

We couldn’t have imagined a more charming stay. You feel and see the love that Lydie put into the house from the moment you step foot into the door. The room was spacious and cozy, the bed very comfortable. Also, the location of the house is great since it‘s walking distance to the center of town, surrounded by many cafés and shops but hidden away in a residential area. All in all: The perfect place to relax and get a good night’s sleep after a busy day in town.

We had the best time at rosehall hotel! we had the most lovely room with good space and a really nice bed.. The bathroom was nice. The best thing was when we came down for breakfast, we were met by the friendliest host, Martin. He showed us the way to our table, showed us what he had to offer for breakfast, and he gave us some good advices on where to go, how to get places, as we were visting Scotland for the first time. one of the mornings we had to leave the hotel before breakfast time, but he made some brakfast for us earlier, so we could eat before we left. He did what he could to make us feel welcome, and we sure did! The bus is right ouside the door, it cost 1,80 pounds, and it takes you to the city center in just a few minutes. When I go back to Edinburgh (wich I definitely will!!!) I would stay here again, no doubt!

-Extremely beautiful interior, in the rooms and on the hallways- also pleasant scent everywhere -great bathroom with a great (rain-) shower -comfortable beds and generally rooms with beautiful view to Edinburghs historical streets -extremely friendly staff-from cleaning staff to owner-courteous and really helpful -exceptional price performance - when you compare it to other hotel rooms with double beds in Edinburgh, the vast majority is more expensive and doesn't even look close to be as good as this one, especially when it comes to interior and location.

    Really friendly host who provided me a room at the very last minute after my original accommodation provider let me down. Lovely quiet spot and a beautiful room with all the facilities you would expect. After a long day this was a real treat to come to and get some excellent rest.

    Interesting surprise with the Scottish breakfast but well worth having. Keeps you going all day long. Ewan and Irene are great hosts and the tales Ewan tells you at breakfast are Interesting and worth listening to. If we come back to Scotland, will definitely try and book in again.
