This was a gem of a property!!!!! I would rate it 5 Stars. The room was beautiful, very English country style with the most comfortable bed. The en-suite came with a bath which was a real pleasant surprise. The real treat were the hosts, Andy and Tanya, prior to my stay I had lots of communication with them. I was doing an ultra bike race so I was just going to get there, sleep a few hours and leave in the early hours. Andy and Tanya made me a cook to order breakfast when I arrived at 7.30pm and made me a takeaway ham sandwich with a few treats for my journey onwards, which I really needed as there’s not many shops open where my race route was taking me at that hour in the morning. The next time I return, it will be a more leisurely stay to really enjoy this quintessential Country House.

The friendly people! Caroline and Simon make your stay a real pleasure. As if coming home every time you walk in that wonderfully decorated old style pub. Very good food, lots to eat and great cooked breakfast. Beds comfortable and a huge accessible bathroom. Ample parking. Great experience!
