The room was in a great location just a few minutes walk to the centre and the harbour. It was good to have off steet parking right by the entrance. The room was very comfortable with a large bed, a tea/coffee area and fridge, a smart TV and a fantastically hot and large shower! The tunnocks and milk were a lovely touch and it was nice to have low level lamps and not just bright overhead lights like a lot of rooms. It was below zero when we stayed and snow outside but the room was very toasty! We will definitely book again next time we're up.

Found the place by searching where to stay around StoneHaven. Found this place, booked it in no time, without knowing what to expect at all. Last minute trip, booked on the go. Once arrived, what a GOOD surprise! A lovely wee cotage, lost between Stonehaven and Aberdeen. The warm welcoming by hosts and the stay was incredible. You book a BnB, but feels like you will be staying at your old friend's place for the night! And I'm not even speaking about the Peacocks waiting for you and the back garden full of chickens and rabbits! This place 5min away from the lovely beach! What more can we ask for ?! Genuinely! I'll definitely be back. If it's not to visit Aberdeenshire, it will be for the mindfulness retreat that the place offers. We can only recommend! Jelena & Nico

We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our two hosts, who were fantastic, nice, and helpful people. Staying in a guest house allows you to experience the warmth of the Scots. We really loved John's place. He was so kind and friendly and everything was so clean and the room spacious and well-organized. Also the breakfast was really tasty and had several options. Good position for the city centre, just 10 min walking.
