I loved my stay at the Penn. At first, I had only booked for 1 night but extended it for 2 as it was so nice. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bed was comfortable. It was very conveniently located to Windermere station, the local buses and Windermere town itself. Although I arrived too early for check-in, a staff member kindly stored my bags in the hotel prior to putting them in my room for me. There was also a lovely little sweet treat welcome gift, which was very much appreciated.

Our stay at the Denehurst guesthouse exceed expectations, the hosts were wonderful, hospitable and accommodating. They provide information related to sightseeing and offered advice for restaurants etc. Most of all they made us feel at home and treated us like family. The breakfast menu offered many choices, the food was delicious, better than in any restaurant.

The Briscoe Lodge is located in a very quiet area close to the heart of Windermere: nearby, you will find shops, bars, restaurants and bus stops. The railway station is just a few minutes walk away. Graham, the owner, is one of the kindest person I have ever met. He is always ready to help and gave lots of advice about places to visit and which hikes to take. The place was really clean. Furthermore, the continental breakfast offered was really rich, including bread, jams, Nutella, yogurts, fruit juices and hot drinks. Finally, I would highly recommend this place and definitely would come back again!

    Ken & Cindy were a lovely couple, very friendly and great hosts. The B&B was 1st class, comfortable, very clean, Breakfast was excellent, lovely home cooked food, fresh fruit salad. Wonderful place. Location to Windermere & Bowness was excellent, 15 minutes walk.

    Jerichos Boutique is a beautifully decorated and furnished house. It is spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfy, free on site parking is a bonus and is in a nice quiet street. Great location- only a 2 minute walk to Windermere Train station, shops, pubs and restaurants. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and served a great breakfast. It is a 20-30 min walk down to Bowness lake and shops. Had a lovely 2 night stay. I Would definately recommend without hesitation.
