Stayed in a single room, which was surprisingly spacious and perfectly appointed. You get towels and even a robe in your room! Homely accommodation, comfortable, clean, with a great upstairs communal living area. Good location near the water, a short walk to the shoreline where I joined a handful of other lucky folks in my first ever (breathtaking) Aurora Borealis viewing. Little kitchenette setup in the downstairs entrance with coffee station and water dispenser was a nice touch, especially since friends staying elsewhere in Borgarnes complained of a sulphur-like smell/taste in their water.

My friends and I were very satisfied. The hostess welcomed us and showed us everything. Everything we needed was in the house. We also had the opportunity to meet with the horses and dogs. Very nice experience😊
