PolandAmazing view. Place easy to find and access, with self check-in. Very nice standard of facilities. Clean, large room. Comfortable bed. Big shower. Decorated in nice, simple style. Big kettle, sugar, powder milk. I loved normal size cups. Those little things that makes your stay feel like home environment.

LithuaniaFirst time staying in hostel, wasnt sure how all works regarding shared things,information was provided yes and all read. Very happy that you still had your personal little house and toilet. Location was perfect ,stayed one night and very affordable,if needed would definetely come back.

Hotel is a very basic guesthouse (some plastic cables showing on ceiling of our room) but staff was very nice, they offer free coffee/tea/chocolate, location is convenient to glacier and nice view on the lake from hotel

Great location to explore the nearby glacier lakes, beautiful, clean new room with comfortable beds and great view over the valley. Communication with the guesthouse was great.

Great host, stayed up until 1 in the night to receive us. between green mountains, glaciers and sea. Truly a serene place. Best breakfast we had in Iceland

We booked Gerdi Guesthouse primarily for its location close to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon. The rooms were spacious and clean although our booking for 2 bungalows was delivered as two rooms in the main building. We did not see inside the bungalows to compare. The main building did have a nice common room for guests to use. We had a good dinner and breakfast at the attached restaurant but chose other cheaper options for subsequent meals.
