I arrived by motorcycle and to my surprise the hotel is run by a motorcycle school called Enduro Republic. I got to park my bike in style in their clubhouse / office / repair shop. I was treated with a coffee and then walked over to my fantastic room. My stay was on a weekday between seasons and only one restaurant was open which was fine with me. I strolled around the interesting village almost on my own. The room was large and comfortable, and there was a kettle and some complimentary snacks in the room.

We really liked the beautiful building and location. We checked in very late due to the late arrival of our ferry from Greece to Ancona, but the late check in instructions with key were excellent. The coffee and yogurt in the morning was a great start, and the receptionist was very friendly. Unfortunately, we couldn't explore the area because we had to continue our drive through Switzerland. However, we definitely want to return to the B&B and area.

The hosts were wondefully welcome to our family. Fresh food, eggs and smiles. There little farm was a wonder for our 2 year old who spent time everyday with the hosts feeding the animals. 20 minutes drive into Piacenza but on the doorstep of the Grazzono Visconti estate. Will stay again.

The owners were exceptionally kind. To the point where I messed up the shower & submitted a review (a not so kind one!) meaning it for another hotel and they were STILL kind and professional to me. The updates they've done to their space are so nice including a beautiful bathroom with every possible feature. We were in town for a wedding and a large portion of our party stayed here. We all had nothing but good things to say. It is an easy walk to lots of shops and restaurants and the owners are so accommodating. They are available to contact at any time and even purchase breakfast items based on what you'd like to eat.

The building has been beautiful renovated and is very thoughtfully designed and styled. It was very relaxing to stay there, part work and part pleasure.

An altogether different experience. Our 'room' was a suite - bedroom, bathroom, sitting room and private courtyard. Everything was impeccable, and bed linen, cups, coffee, tea etc were all of highest quality. Minibar in the room and bottled water provided. You stay in the palace itself, which dates from the 15th century and the host gave us a guided tour of the rest of this wonderful small palace. It is quiet and the atmosphere calm, yet only a few minutes' walk from the duomo. Cremona itself is interesting and well worth an overnight stay. The palace also welcomed our dog.

It was beautiful in a wonderful location and the staff was lovely
