This place was a pleasant surprise. The beds had very comfy mattresses and the rooms were unusually spacious. The bathrooms were modern and squeaky clean. In the morning we had our breakfast included, which was rich and satisfying with various juices, yoghurts, bread, hard boiled eggs, cold cuts, cheese and pastries. Would certainly recommend it and would love to come back again.

This is a memorable place to stay. We received a lovely welcome from the owner of the property - it’s very much a family run home and the personal touch was great. The Schloss is set in the most beautiful gardens, lush with flowers and vegetation. It’s on the edge of the town, so airy and spacious. We had the entire attic at the top of the house, an enormous room with views on all sides. It would have been ideal for a family, but a huge space for just a couple! We had dinner at the Schloss in the evening; a limited menu always bodes well and the cooking was exceptional. We chose the beef medallions and the cooking was fantastic, really tender and succulent. My husband chose the family’s wine, a Merlot cabinet, which was delicious. He was sorry that it wasn’t available to buy at the local enoteca in Meran. Breakfast was excellent too - a lovely choice of cereals, cold meats, cheese and first-rate coffee, all very fresh

The property was clean and spacious. Beautifully decorated and furnished. Very comfortable. The balcony had a fabulous view of the valley. It was quiet and peaceful. The village centre was only a few minutes walk.
