Starace House Primo Piano is located in the center of Vico Equense, very close to the train station on the Campania Express line. The location allows for convenient access to places such as Naples, Pompeii, and Sorrento. In the town, you will find many restaurants, cafes, and shops, and on Saturdays, there is a local market. The property is run by nuns who prepare a delicious daily breakfast served buffet-style in the dining room. For breakfast, you can enjoy Italian ham, cheese, homemade cake, croissants, homemade bread, coffee, tea, as well as fruits and yogurt. The rooms are cleaned daily. Hairdryers with Italian plug adapters are available at the reception. Quiet hours are observed from 10 PM, and each guest receives keys to the gate and the front door. The city tax is collected in cash. The Credit Agricole bank with an ATM is very close, located on Piazza Umberto I. You can park your car on the street, but on Saturdays, the nuns inform you to move it to a private courtyard to avoid fines from the police, as the local market takes place on nearby streets. I recommend choosing rooms with a garden view, if possible. Unfortunately, I had a room facing the street. The windows are not well soundproofed, and Italians ride scooters and honk late into the night, greeting each other and so on. It’s part of the Italian vibe, but you get used to it quickly.

We spent our holiday at Palazzo Murrano for the second time and it is still the best! Vico Equense is really picturesque, we could not imagine a more beautiful place to spend some time during summer. The hotel's private beach, Murrano Mare is the best beach we have ever been to! The hotel, the rooms, the breakfast are really wonderful and you could not ask for a better staff! Alfonso is our long time friend, we hope that we will see him again!

Rita was great and she helped us with everything we needed. We left our luggage there before the check in and after the checked out. The room was very clean and they used good materials to decorate it. She left us breakfast and it wasn’t included and also, water and a nice blue bubble drink as a welcome gift. Thank you very much. Excellent location, and Consuelo was an excellent host. The Patio and balcony attached to our room was perfect after a long day of exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi coast.
