Amazing. I loved the place with references to manga/anime everywhere in the house, great collection of pokemon cards 😅... Totsi is a super host, when I arrived he was preparing super yummy Dorayaki (Japanese pancakes with sweet bean paste) with the other travelers and invited me to join them 😋 After that we played card games till midnight. Close to the hostel there are several onsen opened until 2am with outdoor bath that are perfect for relaxing night bath. The facilities in the house were really good and everything was clean. The place was excellent value for money Thank you Totsi ! 🙏

We loved this apartment! Everything is brand new, the beds are comfortable, there is a table with chairs to eat or work, comfortable bathroom with hot shower (and bath) and a great balcony. It was very quiet and just a short walk from the station. Highly recommend staying here!

Best place we stayed in Japan (one month trip and we are quite picky) We were upgraded to a bigger room for free. Room was amazing and clean with bathroom and window. We booked one more night because we fell in love with it and with Beppu. Staff is fantastic, nice and helpful and giving you tips for the city. Common area is so nice, kitchen amenities fantastic. It’s everything you want and need ♥️

The location is ideal—just a short walk from the Sunflower Ferry port and conveniently close to the city center. The lobby offers a welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy complimentary hot and cold drinks, play retro video games, read books, or simply unwind while watching anime on TV. The room was exceptionally spacious, one of the largest we experienced during our stay in Japan.

Everything! Is really close to the station, rooms are big and spacious with a traditional style. The common area at the first floor is big and has a relaxing atmosphere. And there’s an onsen everybody can use, even people with tattoo and this is the main reason I picked this place for my stay in Beppu. Is the right place to relax and explore Oita prefecture.

It's about a 15 min walk to the nearest bus station but I loved how it was next to a park and a very quiet area. It's still a walkable location to Beppu Jigoku.

Such a kind host! He remembered our names and was always happy to talk to us. The hotel is very clean and perfectly located in the city op Beppu. Lots of restaurants nearby.

I love this calm location near Asami shrine and Asami onsen just on the other side of the street. The house is a beautiful old style wooden house in a very good condition. I booked the biggest japanese style room (Ume), and it was beautiful! The next conbini (Lawson) is a five minute walk away. WiFi worked flawlessly. I enjoyed my stay here.

Loved my stay here. The location is excellent, right near the station and lots of really good places to eat and drink nearby. For some reason there was barely anyone else staying here when I was there, so I had the whole dorm room to myself. The sauna was awesome as well, you get to use it for free. Very clean and really comfortable shared area.

It's much better than the rating suggests. The room is cheap, fairly large, and very comfortable, and it's very well located in the city. The only bathroom is a bit rundown, but you get tickets to go to the onsen next door every day. There's a rooftop and a kitchen. I recommend it.
