Very clean and well stocked apartment with cooking equipment, seasonings, toiletries etc. Beds were comfortable and the host was super friendly and helpful! Great location for the bamboo forest and exploring temples.

Nice, quiet area. Just what I was looking for. Bed was so comfortable I was actually surprised! I was able to use the washing machine for free. Masumi cooked me some udon one night, only ¥500. I ate lots of delicious fruit while there which was free or cheap. Masumi was the most helpful, friendly host. She really cares about you :) thank you Masumi

Everything was perfect! Staff were amazing, the room and facilities not to mention a free breakfast ! They have just about everything you may need as a traveller and more aswell which is super handy and amazing! They hold an intercultural party in the hotel twice a week where everyone from the guesthouse is invited aswell as a few Kyoto locals, sitting around with sake and snacks and chatting to people from all over the world and learning from locals was the highlight of my trip! The Lady who runs the house is also incredibly kind and speaks English very well so I had no trouble with communication. The location is also fantastic, a little ways away from Kyoto station but easy enough to get to with a taxi or bus! There is a convenience store in a 5 minute range, plenty of cafes and restaurants, Kiyomizu Dera is only a 10 minute walk away with much of the more famous areas of Kyoto within a 20 minute radius!

Amazing stray. Super clean, nice location, staff is super kind and the place itself is very aesthetically pleasing. The breakfast was super good (both the western and japanese one) and each food was prepared with so much care and attention to detail.

The house is near Kyoto station and bus stops. The room was clean, comfortable and very convenient. The host and the staffs are are so kindness and helpful. A male staff drove us to the Kyoto Station when all taxies were unavailable and another female wrapped our paper bag by plastic bag because it was raining. I highly appreciate these people this place, and will continue to stay here when I come back to Kyoto.
