It's a very beautiful clean house. There is no inhouse Onsen, but if you go to Kusatsu I recommend to try out the public baths anyway. Big plus: The stuff gave us a map on arrival and explained which places are recommended to go to and answers question if you have some about your sightseeing plans.

I really enjoyed staying at Villa Alpen! This ski in ski out hotel is quiet old but the atmosphere there is so peaceful. Onsen works 24 hours! It is a great bonus. The continental breakfast and Japanese style dinner served. All good! The staff is very friendly. The ski resort is consisted of multiple small resorts and they all interconnected. The owners accommodated all my needs and were very helpful and kind! I will be back for sure!
