This was my second time here. The hosts of this family-run small inn are so welcoming and helpful, and the rooms are really comfortable. The location is close to many major sights (museums, temples) and right around the corner from a train station if you want to go farther.

everything! the guy at the reception is the kindest! the guesthouse is clean and cozy! I totally recommend it! I had a private room with futon and the bathroom was shared, but bathrooms are so clean that it wasn’t a problem at all! Also there’s everything you need, towels, soap, shampoo etc. there are also some snacks in the common room:) last thing, position is great as well!

My room was clean and warm, and the space was cozy for an overnight stay. Very quiet.There’s also a bus stop nearby, and the hotel is located in a picturesque area, close to many temples and the Philosopher's Path. What impressed me the most was their garden, which is in a different building about a 10-minute walk away—it’s incredible! However, I spent a long time looking for the location at first, so I recommend checking it on Google Maps right away. Thank you!

The owner: Mr. Morio and his wife are so friendly and kind! and they know how to speak English! The accommodation: The futon and bedsheet is so comfortable to sleep, the bedroom is cold even though i just open window and switch off the aircond during my sleep. The room and toilet are very clean! The breakfast and snack: Mr. Mario’s wife every morning will prepared breakfast to us, it is so so so delicious and full! Besides that, they prepared snack in my room everyday too! During the day we checked out, Mr. Mario sending us to Kyoto Station too! This is my first time go Kyoto, and I will go back again to stay gallery nozawa!
