The room was spacious and I loved the setup. Really clean and I liked that they provided some drinks and kettle in the common area. We were passing through the town and arrived late but the check-in staff was very kind and had everything set up to make the check-in smooth.

Food!!!! I am very happy that I found this place. The rooms are somewhat basic but more than sufficient for a ski trip. It’s within walking distance of the slopes but still the hosts will drive you back and forth. The hosts are very hospitable and the lady speaks good English. My favorite part was the food, the breakfast was very diverse and the dinner was another level, some of the best meals I had in Japan. I think it’s a restaurant because one night people that didn’t stay at the lodge came to have dinner, but they don’t advertise. I highly recommend this place!
