Very accommodating. Asked us to come early in worry of lacking food options considering how dark it gets on the island with limited options. Will help to show and explain and help reserve if needed. We end up buying food from a nearby convenience store. Big plus for how dark it gets around midnight to dawn. You should be able to see the stars with naked eye and with camera and tripod, you should be able to take picture of the milkyway with Hakata-Ōshima Bridge in the foreground. Just cross the road and walk left from the hotel to the nearby beach/parking lot for a clearer view of the bridge. View from the room outside is also very scenic in the morning with the palm trees.

The owner of the guesthouse was extremely friendly and helpful, she even offered to take me to a place for dinner with her car. She also set up an electric heater so my wet shoes could dry overnight without me even asking, and made a hearty breakfast for me before I left. The house was also kept in good condition and is decorated nicely. I could have easily stayed there for a couple of days.

Sayomi was such a kind and generous host. The food she cooked was amazing (and plentiful) and we enjoyed staying in a traditional Japanese house. Sayomi also helped us to arrange the transport. We loved the massage chair.

Cute place with cozy beds and nice atmosphere in room. Located in nice town close to shrine and wisteria garden and several good restaurants. Shared toilets and shower we're very clean. We were very happy there after a day of cycling!

Here you can live inside the village just next to a shrine and hear the bell sounds in the evening. A unique experience.
