United StatesA lovely experience that makes you feel like a true countryside local. The host made sure we stopped to get groceries at the local Supermarket, and offered us a ride from the nearby Train station. Tatami floors and shoji screen walls make this place feel full of Japanese tradition.
A cozy nearby onsen (with snacks and drinks!) and small friendly bakery nearby really make this place feel special. I would love to come back next time I need a quiet escape from the city life.
