Rooms and common areas were regularly cleaned, with spotless floors and tidy surroundings. The bins were emptied frequently, ensuring a hygienic environment throughout my stay. Essential amenities were thoughtfully provided, including cutlery and a kettle, making it easy and convenient to prepare tea or coffee whenever needed. Despite being a shared space, the atmosphere remained mostly peaceful at night. Fellow guests were generally respectful, and late-night noise was minimal, but sometimes, there were disturbances A dedicated person was available to greet new guests and offer a thorough orientation, which made settling in and understanding the facilities effortless.

Having an elevator and a parking spot was convenient for our group especially our elderly. The host was quick in responding to our messages prior and during our stay, she also prepared some goodies for us as breakfast.

Our stay here was a highlight of our trip to Japan. We loved everything about it. The location was beautiful, charming, and authentic. The staff went above and beyond all expectations to ensure we had a great stay. There's no words to describe how lovely they were, and the level of customer service they provided. Bed comfortable - lovely to stay in a ryokan. Marginally stressful with rambunctious 10yo and paper walls! The owner was amazing and exceptionally kind. My husband needed medical attention and he rang around to find out what was open on public holiday and then drove him to hospital, translated and drove him home. Incredibly kind and far far exceeded our expectations. Thank you so much!

We stayed for two nights at Natomi - what a wonderful relaxing stay after 10 days of travelling in the big cities ! We stayed in the Tatami room and it was so spacious and the futon were very comfortable. The walls are are traditional walls / doors so sound does travel however it didn’t bother us in the slightest. The shared bathrooms were well appointed and very clean! The space was so relaxing and peaceful - the staff were so very helpful and accomodating ! They helped us to find our way to a golf course when there were no taxis available. We had breakfast each day which was great value for money and dinner one evening which was delicious! The location was great for us (close to golf course) and in a small village which was very peaceful, but it was a little out of the way. We had such a lovely stay and would consider returning if / when we are back in Japan !

This was by far my favourite stay of my Japan trip. Not only was the guest house absolutely stunning and tastefully furnished, within very close proximity to the deer park, I was welcomed so warmly and it really felt like home for the night I was there. This is more than just a guest house- this is a beautiful place to bring people from all around the world together.
