The owner, Mars, goes above and beyond, from booking a private transfer for you to/from Bishkek (for a super reasonable price) to storing your luggage for free while you’re hiking. The breakfast is delicious and generous; and the rooms are modern and clean. Stay here if you’re coming to Karakol!

The host was amazing. We arrived late in the evening and she helped us organize transport to Altyn Arashan for the next day in the morning. We even got our breakfast packed to-go at 6:00 AM. We came back to stay another night after hiking because we liked it so much and the breakfast was delicious again.

Amazing host who speaks excellent English and is always ready to help – from organizing tours to giving useful travel tips. Very friendly and easy to talk to. The rooms were clean, warm, and comfortable, each with a private bathroom. Delicious meals and perfectly timed breakfasts. There’s also a great restaurant right next door. Definitely our best stay during the trip.
