We already travelled through Vietnam and Cambodia and this is probably the best hostal we have been to so far. Monika is an incredible friendly and helpful host, she will resolve you any problem and meet all your needs. The hostal offers water, delicious homemade cookies and fruit salads for free anytime you spend some time on the terrace, this didn't happen to us anywhere else. The breakfasts and meals are delicious and good value. The bungalows are great and you can explore the river with kajaks for free!!! Kampot is a place where you can chill for some days without the touristic hustle and bustle. We recommend you to visit Coconut beach, where you will be on your own, and Bokor Hill Station (monkeys on the way and a buddhist monastery on the top!!), you can rent motorbikes at the hostal to get there.

An excellent place to stay when you are in Kampot (a nice area!). The property is clean with friendly staff and all the basic amenities that you would expect. The shower has excellent pressure, the towels smell nice and the bed sheets are silky smooth. As an added bonus, a lovely, little breakfast was served. Moreover, I arrived well before the check-in time, but I was welcomed with open arms. I can highly recommend this property for both short- and long-term stays if you happen to be in the area.

Everything, it’s a family run place, tucked away at the edge of the city. It’s an easy Tuk Tuk ride into town and was only around a dollar each way. They have their own scooters to hire for $6 a day if you want to go sightseeing. I spent a fair amount of time on the veranda just reading and relaxing. The bed was really comfortable and the bedding smelt amazing, this family are obviously committed to making your stay as enjoyable as possible

We loved our stay at S&D Guesthouse so we extended for another night! Sopheap was so kind and welcoming, helped us with recommendations on what to do in Kampot.the free shuttle from the bus station was a lovely touch. We wanted bikes for $3 to cycle around!

I liked everything about this hotel, great location and room size, cleanliness, there is a work place in the room, water refill on the floor. But the main thing is the best hostess of the hotel Moni, a wonderful person who will help with all questions and is simply very pleasant to talk to. I lived there 9 days instead of 1 and I am sad to leave, I would have stayed longer if my plans allowed. She also owns a burger restaurant Smashed Burgers not far from the hotel, you must visit it because it has the best burgers in Kampot.

I have been living in Cambodia over 9 years, and I have had a lot of different experiences staying at various hotels/guesthouses, and this little place was absolutely the best experience I have had with accommodations here. The price was affordable, and the room was big. Moreover, the location was perfect, being only a 5-minute or so drive from the durian roundabout. It was far enough from the city center to be quiet, and close enough that transport didn't cost a lot going back back and forth to and from the city center every day. I got better sleep here than I have had at any other accommodation in Cambodia, with it being completely silent every night and the bed/pillows being just right. The breakfast every morning was fantastic (the pork and eggs with baguette is recommended), and the owners were extremely gracious and helpful. I highly recommend that anyone coming to Kampot stay here!
