Absolutely wonderfull place. We arrived in Sri Lanka and this was our first tast of a hotel. Everything was perfect, from the room to the cool outdoor shower, the friendly staff and the garden where the excellent breakfast was served.

Location. It was quite surprising to see how quite surrounding was. Host was very informative and did everything to make my stay very comfortable. I really recommend this place whoever wants to have a quite night close to Colombo. Very easy accessible to Colombo.

Looking for history without kitsch I discovered this discrete Guesthouse . Comfy bed, quite neighborhood but walking distance to centre. Next to Gangaramaya temple and a nice lake. Personnel was very helpful and went out of their way to support and help. Kalindu, Nigel and derryl did an amazing work at answering every question, giving travel advice (I stayed longer then planned!) And in general being very warm hearted. Would come again!
