A gorgeous hideaway on a hill where you can lookout onto the water and contemplate life. I had a very special stay here. The host was a beautiful and peaceful man who made my stay what it was. Wonderful meals and just a lovely place with all types of wildlife passing through to bask in the serenity.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were beautiful, with a balcony that offered stunning views of the lake. We were lucky to get two adjacent rooms on the top floor, which provided a private balcony—perfect for relaxing and taking in the scenery. A special shout-out to Jeeva, whose service was impeccable. He was always available, attentive, and ready to assist with any request or query. Overall, a truly memorable experience! We will most certainly be visiting again.

WOW. We booked last minute for just one night, we were lucky to find the Terrace, a small, simple and incredibly peaceful place. The room was clean and spacious, overlooking the valley, good breakfast. Host Ashan is incredibly kind and helpful. Location is a 9 min tuktuk ride from the heart of Kandy (the hotel has one) which is absolutely worth it to enjoy the view and peaceful stay at Terrace Kandy. Thanks again Ashan and everyone who took care of us.

we loved how the place was designed meticulously by the owner himself. The room is cozy, quiet , surrounded by greens. AC works fine. The owners are friendly and approachable. They recommend us things to do in Kandy as well as easy way to catch the train.

Absolutely peaceful location, just far enough to escape the buzzing vibes of Kandy but close enough to be walkable from/to downtown. Beatiful house with clean rooms and quiet front yard to hang out. Open up the windows at night and you will feel like camping in the jungle with all the nature around the area. Host Suraj is a knowledgable calm fellow who deeply cares about his guests having a great experience at his guesthouse.
