Behind the closed doors off the road you walk into an amazing place! The hotel is really quirky and unique it's been thought about alot and it's a place I won't forgot from my time in Sri Lanka! Really lovely hosts who can't do enough for you and book your tuk tuk and help plan your time in Kandy. The bed was so comfy and the room was very clean and again had the quirky touches!

The view was amazing, confortable, and very nice owner family. The cost performance is also super if you think about the facility. The room was clean and with the shared balcony but with your chairs and table so you can relax. I took the city tour with the father, who has a tuk tuk, was very nice because in Kandy I feel like it’s very easy to be cheated but the restaurants where the father took me was the honest price and also very local.

Without any doubt it was the best stay of our trip. The house owner is an extremely humble man. He has a cute little family living at the villa too which gives such a homely and safe feeling. His little girl Chloe was our favorite part of the stay we miss her so much. The property owner cooperated with us to an extreme extent. He even gave us complimentary pancakes for our anniversary. He was so fast in replying to our messages. He guided us on every step. Because of him, our Kandy stay became perfect!

This place has very humble and sincere people working there. Anything you need they will get for you. The bed was comfortable, the area is quiet so you can sleep at night with no problem. The room has everything you need for a comfortable staying. The absence of AC was not a problem as you can sleep just fine with an open window. The breakfasts were amazing and every day we tried new local foods. The hotel is ran by a family, the father does all the cooking, and he is a professional chef! I really recommend this place. You will feel relaxed and taken good care of here. I think that the service they provide is more valuable than what they charge you.

Clean, new and everything works. Close to centre of city, but up and out of the ruckus. To get to town, just walk along the road and down the track on the right hand side of the public garden to a pedestrian crossing where traffic will actually stop - then use the network of underpasses to get around town. The host will help you with your ideas and plans and suggest how best to tackle your intended visits. Good view across town from the balcony and shared area where excellent breakfasts and meals are served. If you are interested in Sri Lankan food then the host will seek out different seasonal vegetables and fruit in the market for meals. There is another short cut to town down via the sports ground but this is not recommended as the local dogs on that path don’t take kindly to strangers. Current tuk tuk fare from town is 300 LKR (March 2024). The PIckMe app for tuk tuks works in Kandy and is used by tuk tuk drivers. Tuk tuk drivers drop you at a narrow path that leads down to two home stays - just follow the signs.
