We had a wonderful stay at this unique accommodation right in the middle of the jungle! With rooftop viewpoints, a tranquil pool, and outstanding service, this place truly offers a special experience. Even though it's located a bit off the beaten path, the atmosphere more than makes up for it—you might not want to leave at all. The included breakfast was so generous it practically lasted us all day. In the evening, there was a great selection of local and Western dishes made with high-quality ingredients (though portions were on the smaller side). The peaceful pool area was perfect for unwinding, and the staff really took Sri Lankan hospitality to the next level. Occasional evening power fluctuations were handled smoothly with a temporary diesel generator, but it switched off well before bedtime, leaving only the soothing jungle sounds. For mobile work, this place may not be ideal—the Wi-Fi relies on a mobile connection, which wasn't strong enough for demanding online tasks. But for a relaxing holiday segment in Sri Lanka, this place gets our full recommendation! We arrived by public bus from Kandy, changing at Dambulla, and then took a Tuk Tuk from the Sigiriya bus stop to the accommodation for 1000 rupees. During our stay, we rented a scooter in Sigiriya, while other guests used rental Tuk Tuks to get around.

The breakfast was absolutely delicious. The patties were some of the best I’ve ever had. They also served bananas grown on their own farm, called "Naga bananas." I was surprised by their rich, sticky texture. Whenever I asked for help with things I wanted to do or places I wanted to visit, they immediately made arrangements. They were incredibly reliable and helpful. Also, their child was so cute—it was very heartwarming.

Location was around very scenic calm and country side surrounded by lakes and rice fields. The property was adequately maintained but rain was kind of bummer. Couldn’t use swimming pool because of continuous rain. The owner was kind enough to drop us to sigiriya rock and pick us back from restaurant. Also dropped us to bus station in morning. Breakfast was of good quality and more than enough quantity with lot of varieties. They also made tea for us several times during our stay. Overall very friendly and welcoming host! You should definitely stay specially in good sunny weather!

Large, comfy room for us and our three teenage sons. Sundan was very friendly and helpful. He arranged tuk tuks for us to go to Pidurangala rock for the sunrise and showed us lots of other options for things to do. The breakfasts and dinners were amazing - presented beautifully and incredible flavours. Great location, close to Lion rock and just a short walk from town. Cute puppy at the hotel. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very welcoming family and beautiful Guesthouse in the middle of the jungle. The food was amazing both the dinner and the breakfast, and the price are very cheap. The wifi connection is perfect and you can also rent a bike to move around which is very helpful. Perfect place

The facility is located in an excellent location, close to Sygirya and national parks. The room is large, the bed spacious. It has air conditioning, which is important because of the heat. Breakfast is simple, very tasty. The owners are wonderful people, they welcomed us and we felt at home. The garden is wonderful, and the girl who served us breakfast is the most beautiful. Words cannot explain how amazing was our stay. Fantastic location with a breathtaking view (you can see the sigirya lion rock from the resort). We had dinner and breakfast in this structure and those were the best meals we had in Sri Lanka. The place is run by a beautiful local family and they were so nice to us. They also set up a Safari in the Eco park near Habarana for use. Overall they treated us like family members. This is simply one of those places you just can't miss. Super reccomended!
