the accommodation is at the 1st floor of a big house, the owners are living in the house. we had full access to the apartment and to a large and beautiful terrace. Host very kind, helped us with all requests. location is on the main road, just near the see and quite close to Le Morne beach / area. There is also posibility to park the car at the property. Breakfast was excellent.

This guest house is a dream. The hosts are the nicest people and everything is perfectly planned to make you feel like at home. Pipine’s place is a gem ! Spacious, clean and quiet with a stunning view of le morne - it felt like the perfect place for a relaxed holiday. Pipine was really sweet and even cooked for us. We also rented the kayak and visited a nearby island which was a unique experience. Her place is located ideally for exploring the south of Mauritius. Pipine is an amazing host !

Great value rooms for those who want to visit Le Morne. We stayed at la Gaulette and absolutely loved it. It's just 5 minutes by car to the Le Morne Beach. Mathieu was very responsive and let us keep the luggage after the checkout. The rooms are great size, and you're surrounded by banana trees. The rooftop terrace is great for a drink in the evening. Would definitely stay again.

We had a really great time in Bianca's Apartment which was modern, clean and fully equipped, just like in the pictures. There was cleaning every day and Bianca welcomed us with a fruit basket and some drinks. She was super nice and helpful during our stay, even had boat trip options to Benetier Island. The best part was definitely the view from the terrace and the sunset from the rooftop, so do not miss it out if you are staying here :) La Gaulette is not a big city but it is a good "base" if you want to see the main attractions in the South. We recommend everyone to stay in Fullmoon Apartments and check out Chamarel, Black River Gorges National Park and Bois Cheri.
