Magnolia is the nicest person I've ever met and exceeded our expectations. We were treated like family. We stayed a week and then went other places of Puerto and just wanted to come back (and we did!) because this place was the best by far because of Magnolia (host), comfortable & clean room, location, community kitchen wifi 10/10 recommend

Absolutely fantastic place. Starting from super nice staff through the clean pool, nice open space kitchen, comfy hammocks (someone knows exactly how to hang them!) and great rooms to chilled atmosphere and cool location. My number one hostel during my trip.

Super friendly and chatty staff. Great location not too far away from the beaches (but far enough away that you're not in the middle of all the people. Spacious and clean room and bed with free bed-change on-demand. Despite Puerto Escondido being a hot place, the room temperature is perfect and adaptable with 4 large fans.

We had a twin bed room and were very happy with it. In general the hostel was very nice and clean and we felt very confortable there. The room was quite big and the bathroom (upstairs) very nice, always clean and huge. The owner was super friendly and helpful. There is a nice terrace to chill outside.

I stayed in a 10-bedroom mixed room, very large with a bench in the middle. The bed I had was very comfy, had its own lamp and socket, and the people I shared it with was clean and respectful. There was one toilet and one shower within the room, which was enough. There is another toilet and shower by the pool. They both worked properly and were always clean. The dorm had a fan and AC (AC on only at night). Each bed had a drawer to put your things (bring your own lock). I stayed over Christmas and was surprised with a lovely brunch for all guests, hosted by the hostel owner herself and we got to spend the day chilling by the pool, it was so lovely! Juan (the manage) was also very helpful. Overall, the hostel was comfy, good facilities, great location to get public transport at the main road and not a long walk to Zicatela beach. But what I appreciated my time at Daikiri mainly because of the people I met there :)
