Shekhar is a special person that has created a special place for travellers to come together, share and find a likeminded community which this place seems to attract. On arrival I felt immediately at peace as it feels like home and has the best energy. Shekhar is very generous with sharing his time to show guests around the hidden gems of Bhaktapur and knowledge of Nepali and Newari culture. Staying here wasn’t just a place to sleep, it was an experience of getting to really know the city and Nepali way of life. Staying here also reminded me of the important things in life - good company, community, music, spirituality, art, food, learning and exploring. It was one of the highlights of two months travelling Nepal which speaks volumes :)

Loved the traditional structure of the guest house. Pleasant safe environment to be in. Receptionist Anjal was warm and lovely and catered to guests needs. Veg breakfast and overall staffs service was good. No safe in guest house, therefore would advise guests to lock up personal luggages to prevent petty thefts.

Really nice and comfortable place a few mins from the Buddha Stupa. Very nice and helpful staff. We spent there only one night due to our way back but for exploring the quarter it was great.
