Staying at Peacock Guesthouse was an experience on its own! It is a piece of a medieval fairytale brought into the modern world. Not only you feel the history everywhere, but also the artistry of Bhaktapur craftsmen: the wood-carved windows overlooking the oldest square of the town and the temple, the wooden artifacts in the cute courtyard, the craftsman himself working next to the restaurant…. I really enjoyed my stay here, it is so close to all the beauty that Bhaktapur had to offer yet really quiet and tucked away off the mai street. My room had everything I needed, the bed was really comfortable and a hot shower! I slept really well. Breakfast was provided and the staff were extremely accommodating. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting the city.

Wonderful breakfast! Very helpful staff - whenever we needed something they were able to bring it to us. It is nice to be in a place supporting a good cause. There is a wonderful garden where we ate.
