A great hostel that deserves the praise that others have written about it. Fantastic owners who go far and beyond what they are required to do. Nice upstairs chill area. Very strong and stable Internet which has become sadly a rarity in Arequipa the past year (I have been in and out of Arequipa for a few years). The local market across the street is actually mush bigger than the one tourists visit near the city center. Safe neighborhood and the historic center is walkable.

The house is a lovely old mansion and we had a nice room with a beautiful bow window. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful to organize our trip to the Colca Canyon We enjoyed our stay in Casa Arequipa very much.

I was very happy with this hotel. It is in a great location within easy walking distance to the Plaza de Armas, and lots of shops and restaurants. It is one block from from the Monastery of Santa Catalina, which was really interesting to visit. The reception area is nice, the rooms are clean, and the shower was good. And the price can't be beat.
